The Botswana Council of Non-Governmental Organisations (BOCONGO) is the national umbrella body for non-governmental organizations in Botswana. BOCONGO was officially registered in 1995 with the registrar of Societies (Registration No. CR1957).

Governance Structure
The Council is governed by a General Assembly, which is made up of representatives from paid up members. The affairs of the General Assembly are run by the Secretariat, which is the implementing arm of the council, responsible for the day to day management and administrative work of the Council. It is headed by the Executive Secretary who is assisted by other professional staff. The Secretariat is provided with policy guidance by the Executive Committee which is made up of elected representatives from the membership.
