BOCONGO  will be holding the following trainings for it’s  members in Gaborone ,Francistown, and  Palapye   from the 9th to the 27th of November.

The key elements being   to empower attendees with;

Advocacy and lobbying techniques.

Report writing techniques.

Financial management.

Marketing skills.

Resource mobilization techniques.

NGO governance and leadership.

Information and website management.

Policy  formulation  and analysis skills.

These trainings are sponsored by the  Africa Capacity Building  Programme

Through the Non State Actors Capacity  building programme, BOCONGO will ,during  the months of October , November and December , undertake the following programmes ;

Upgrade the BOCONGO website.

Develop a performance management system for the secretarial and executive committee.

develop a sector coordination strategy.

Develop a master database.

consolidate and mainstream BOCONGO strategy documents.

develop a gender budgeting and mainstreaming strategy

Revive  the production of the BOCONGO  newsletter.

The Forum syd HIV AIDS partnership is scheduled for the 9th to the 13th of November in Francistown .
This partnership includes Forum Syd , BOCONGO , BONASO , BONEPWA and  BONELA.

BOCONGO will be participating in the 2009 world HIV + AIDS  day PLW HIV week  in Kasane from the 25TH November to the 1st of December 2009.
